My newest Speed Drawing video is up on my YouTube Channel.
I will be at New York Comic Con Oct 10-13. You can find me with my good pal and superstar writer/inker, Andy Lanning, at Artist Alley table A-2.
Here are my current convention commission sketch prices/options.
I will most likely be taking a sketch list instead of drawing each commission as each person waits in line. So hit my table early to make sure you get on the list! I hope to do a new list for each day.
Convention Commission specs:
- Head shot black and white on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $40
- Head shot grayscale Copic markers on 7″x10″ (roughly) art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $60
- Half figure black and white on 9″x12″ art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $100
- Half figure grayscale Copic markers on 9″x12″ art board, sketch cover, or personal sketchbook: $140
I’ll also have my Volume 1 Sketchbook, 4 art prints and some original art/commissions for sale.
I hope this info helps. There is a possibility info could change between now and the convention, so stay tuned to my social networks or subscribe to my the RSS feed at toddnauck.com for possible updates.
More convention appearance announcements to come!
Be sure to follow me on Twitter, twitter.com/toddnauck. I’ll be running my NYCC2013 Sketch Retweet Contest during the con. Just click "retweet" on my #NYCC2013 sketches for a chance to win an original sketch of your own! All the rules/info can be found HERE.
And this 11″x17″ Kitty Pryde piece will be auctioned off during the con to help raise money for the St Jude’s Children’s Hospital Charity Auction! The Charity Auction is Saturday night at 8:00pm in room 1A17 and if you’re interested in attending and helping a really great cause!
Once Upon A Time. Mary Margaret/Snow White.
Kuretake brush pen, Pigma Micron & Copic Markers
I agree with your observations between the Pentel and Kuretake brush pens.
I use the Kuretake for major things like hair and certain body contours.
I’ll use the Pentel for textures like rocks or dry brush effects. Also for spotting smaller black areas.
The Pentel brush pen is also my travel brush pen for when I’m on the road. I don’t want to risk losing or jacking up my Kuretake. :P
